OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
Mayo North East is looking for UKRAINIAN COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER to
join their SICAP* team. The worker/s will be responsible for the
promotion and coordination of all aspects of Mayo County Childcare
Ukrainian Response. For the duration of the contract, they will be
responsible for organising and facilitating Stay and Play sessions,
Organising workshops for Stay and Play sessions and/or Parent and
Toddler group sessions in areas such as health, parents support in
areas such as how children learn, the importance of play, music etc.,
supporting Parent and Toddler group inclusion of Ukrainian families,
increasing the profile of supports available to Ukrainian families and
children by the County Childcare Committee various media including
social media, newsletter, articles etc., financial and operational
reporting, volunteer mentoring and budget management.
